Method
Since the human body is capable of moving in so many ways, it is important to explore various kinds of movements that involve different qualities, such as mobility, balance, coordination, proprioception, strength and explosiveness.
I adapt every session according to your goals, injuries (if any), motivation and capacities. My goal is to give you the keys to develop a body in which you feel strong and painfree. I focus a lot on mobility during my coaching (mainly based on Functional Range Conditioning), to make sure you unlock a good range of motion, and to help you avoid any compensation you may have during other exercises.

You have access to the studio 10 minutes before to warm-up and 5 minutes after the session. It is of course possible to include the warm-up in the 30 minutes if you prefer a quick yet effective session.

If you want to train with a partner (max 3 persons), then the semi-private session is perfect for you. You will have a personalized training even if you do not have the same goals.

Small group training is a great way to exercise in a fun atmosphere and at a lower cost. In order to maintain a good coaching, the small groups are limited to 8 persons. I offer five small group trainings per week. You can find the schedule and the calendar to book your session under “small group training”.

About Me
Personal trainer
My name is Valentine, and I became a certified Personal Trainer in 2017, in parallel to my studies in Sports Sciences at the University of Lausanne. I graduated from my studies with a Master’s degree in Training and Performance in 2020.
I have always been passionate about sports, and have been practicing a lot of different activities growing up (such as gymnastic wheel, volleyball, skiing, snowboarding). I have always been curious about discovering new activities, which led me to do a 200 hours yoga teacher training in 2022. This beautiful practice led me to approach movement in a different way, as I realized mobility was a huge part of having a healthy and painfree body.
I then became a FRC (functional range conditioning) instructor to focus on mobility training. I personally plan and consider my own workouts as a way to be strong and limitless when practicing all the sports I love outside of the gym (yoga, calisthenics – I spend a lot of time doing handstands – snowboarding, skiing, bouldering, surfing etc.)

It depends on your goal, your weekly physical activity, and your diet. The purpose of personal training sessions is to guide you into a healthy lifestyle over the long term and to help you change your habits to incorporate movement into your daily life (also outside the gym). I always recommend starting with the Discovery pack of 3 sessions to determine if it aligns with your expectations, as the most important thing is that you enjoy your workouts.

Absolutely! The worst thing to do while injured is to completely stop moving. Movement is medicine, and if you stop all activities you might get new injuries due to sedentarity. It is of course important to move according to your injury: I am here to help you define which movements are manageable and safe for you, according to your diagnosis or any recommendations from your doctor and/or physiotherapist.

I share a personal training studio with a colleague, at Chemin de Bérée 4C, 1010 Lausanne. The studio offers two parking spots in a private garage. You can also easily access it with public transports: the studio is located right next to the M2 stop Fourmi.
